Tiffany Bond

The founder of Crop for Cancer is a fiesty cancer butt kicker. Her own experiences with cancer and with losing her mom (who was her best friend) to cancer have ensured that. Tiffany is great at pulling people together for a fun time and is a fan of hugging, so watch out.

Tom Corrigan

The go to guy for everything. He sets up tables, chairs, sound systems, unloads and reloads vehicles. Tom lives in a home that has fundraising items all over it from Jan-June every year. He is Tiffany's incredible husband who has dealt with more than his share of cancer loses and experiences. He is the reason that Tiffany is still alive today. Tom introduced Tiffany to The Ewings Cancer Foundation of Canada when he and his band played for their first and subsequent Rally for the Cures. Tom is an integral part of this event. Tom has also created a fun song he sings at the crop called the Tape Runner

Kari Bond and Bella

Kari is a whirlwind and go getter that gets things done. She has been working the bake sale with Colleen for a number of year's now. Yes, she is Tiffany's sister. Tiffany and Kari both lost their mom to breast cancer and Kari has also had to deal with a sister who has had cancer as well. She always likes to be behind the scenes. Her daughter Isabella also gets in some volunteer time with us when she isn't playing hockey!

Meaghan Bodewes

Fundraiser and event planning partner. She keeps Tiffany from going crazy... well she sure tries anyway. She is a go get'em kinda girl that is hard to say no to. Meaghan is a breath of fresh air and tons of fun to be around. Most people keep coming back to our fundraiser just to spend time with Meaghan.

Meaghan's sister Katelyn and William are volutneers with our event too.

Lisa Turner

Lisa is our fabulous Food Co-ordinator. Lisa's daughter McKenna was six months old when Lisa was diagnosed with  Non-Hodgkins Cancer. She is and has been in remission since 2015. She is a real fighter and has overcome many obstacles in life. She works miracles to ensure that no one goes hungry at our fundraiser.

Colleen Knight

Our Bake sale extraordinaire. Colleen has been with us for the long haul and has always been a huge hit with our attendees. Her happy smiles and scrumptious baked goods make sure  you leave happy and that all your sugar cravings have been satisfied. She'll even let you purchase goodies to take home to your poor sugar deprived family members. Colleen is a survivor of Melanoma.

The love birds on Terry's Birthday.jpg
Terry and Bill Bond

Bill is Tiffany's dad and Terry is her terrific stepmom. These two have worked almost every fundraiser in one capacity or another. Bill lost his first wife (Tiffany's mom) to cancer, watched Tiffany battle cancer and lives with Terry's ongoing battles with skin cancers.

Terry is a feisty, give you the shirt off her back kind of woman. Her kindness knows no bounds. She was born and still lives in Naples Florida. Over the years they have stuffed goody bags, cut table cloths, hauled tables and chairs around (especially the year Tiffany broke her ankle just before the fundraiser.) They have baked, brought loads of donations back from Florida and a million other little things.

Bela Teixeira

Bela is a bundle of fun, creative energy. She is committed to doing what she can to help our fundraiser. Whether it is helping us with donations, behind the scenes work and on the day of the event.

Bela is the founder of the Kards for Kids. February 14th, 2021marks Kards for Kids 16th anniversary. Bela has been delivering Smiley cards to the children, parents and medical staff at Toronto Sick Children's Hospital, (SickKids). The nurses then distribute the cards to the kids/parents that are in the hospital to use. Bela and her team have delivered approximately 9,500 cards to SickKids Hospital during those years.

MaryAnn Isbister

MaryAnn is relatively new to the team. She has only attended 2 events so far but jumped in and started helping right away. This year she is our Donations Co-ordinator and will be helping in numerous other ways as well. She brings lots of new ideas, and enthusiasm to the team as well as previous experience collecting donations for community events. She has been scrapbooking for nearly 20 years and has recently shared the love of crafting at her local seniors’ home where she volunteers. MaryAnn loves to support many different fund-raisers but we are so glad she agreed to take on a more active role with ours.
